Zar from South Asian collective Daytimers remixes “370” by
Scottish-Indian protest musician Kapil Seshasayee from his new album "Laal".

Zar (Arun Dhanjal) truly embodies the quality of eclecticism & versatility: he is the drummer for Noise Rock/Hardcore band Muscle Vest, the punk band The Sex Patels a producer of electronic music influenced by all facets of UK electronic music, South Asian Music, Jazz, Deep House, Hip Hop and psychedelic aesthetics, and a DJ playing all the above and more.

Zar is an internal team member of Daytimers, a collective which champions South Asian artistry, representing the collective on the game changing Solidarity with our Farmers live stream in 2021. Zar consistently showcases his versatility as a DJ through playing clubs (Ministry of Sound, The Cause) to longer form sets (The Standard, London) as well as festivals (Brainchild Festival, Ravekjavik Festival Poland, Dialled in Festival).

As a producer, his music has featured on BBC Radio 3, HBO Max, and has had regular support from DJs GracieT on BBC Asian Network as well as on SUCHI’s Bicep Mix, Mafalda, Nabihah Iqbal & Jamz Supernova.
