A3 Typographic print (limited run of 10 printed on 200 GSM paper) by Kapil Seshasayee expanding on the artwork for his latest single "The Pink Mirror" which tackles LGBTQ+ representation and censorship in Indian cinema. Named for an important film which remains banned to this day in India by queer Indian film maker Sridhar Rangayan, "The Pink Mirror" explores the odd double standard of blocking stories inspired by lived experience from LGBTQ+ Indians while mainstream film makers continue to depict 1-dimensional caricatures of them as antagonists or for comic relief. These depictions serve only to to dehumanise and normalise bigotry.
